Something I inherited from my mom was my love of decorating the house for the holidays. There is something to a seasonal switch in decor that makes everything feel more homey. I especially love when I find a project that is cheap, easy, fast and easy to customize – like this adorable Paper Heart Flower Wreath!
MATERIALS
- Stiff Cardboard Wreath Form (I used cardboard from a frozen pizza)
- Paper
- Ribbon
- Paper Cutter
- Buttons (optional)
- Hot Glue (or your glue of choice)
First, cut out all your hearts and other shapes (I used hearts and a few circle to fill in the holes so you couldn’t see the cardboard). Fold each heart in half and crease, then lay them out on your cardboard wreath form and glue down. I glued ribbon to the back of mine to hang the wreath from, and added buttons to give the wreath some texture.
