Crap You're Old Birthday Card | AMODERNCINDERELLA.COMIf you have someone in your life that isn’t excited about aging, this Crap You’re Old Birthday Card is the perfect way to add a little humor to their day! It only takes a few minutes to put together, and is sure to get a little chuckle by the recipient!

MATERIALS

  • 8.5 x 11 Paper (I used shades of brown and tan plus a sheer layer for the inside of the card)
  • Scrap Paper
  • Scissors
  • Corner Cutter (optional)
  • Glue
  • Marker

First, fold and crease the main part of the card in half. I used the corner cutter to make the edges look a little more finished.

I never imagined I’d type this, but the next step is to make a poop emoji! This was a little more difficult than I imagined. I found it easiest to look at the shape on my phone and freehand it on a piece of scrap paper. Once I was happy with my results, I traced it onto the brown paper. Use your marker to add detail to the poop. Again, never imagined I’d be typing that. I also used the scrap paper to cut out the mouth and eyes.

Glue the emoji to the outside of the card and use the marker to write “… You’re Old.”

I printed the inside of the card onto the sheer paper and then cut it out and taped it inside. This step helped to make the card look a little less handmade, and also decreased the amount I was hand writing.

Overall, I thought this card was pretty cute! The recipient definitely had a chuckle, as well as everyone that saw it during the party.
